Chapter Four: Toby

Autumn P.O.V
"So, Dinner is served at Seven. Which is one hour from now. My room is down the hall if you need anything."
Autumn turned to leave "Ah! Wait, I brought a cat with me.... I hope you don't mind!" Risa told me. I nodded my head. "No problem! I love cats, My brother, Silas likes cats also." Risa smiled and nodded. dropped her bags on the bed, Before gently taking Toby out of the bag. "Oh, Shes just a kitten." Risa smiled "Toby is a boy." Risa informed me. "Oh." That's when it got kinda awkward. "Well, I'm going to tell Silas of you being here.. The Dining room is In the foyer on the left." Risa smiled "Okay!" I sighed and walked out of her room. Gently closing the door behind me. I walked into the Kitchen. Silas was sitting at a small table what would only seat four. "Silas!" I called out. Silas opened his eyes "Oh, Its just you." I scoffed "'Just you'? Well, I am offended." Silas rolled his eyes "Oviously you have a good reason to annoy me?" It was my Turn to roll my eyes. "Annoy you? Well this conversation could go for a while, I'm having a guest stay over. Shes a girl with brown hair and green eyes." Silas rolled his eyes again "And I should care?" Silas wasn't always like this, Only after his girl friend breaks up with him. "I'm being consiterate and telling you." Silas sighed. "Okay, I'll inform Nick that we will be having a guest." Nick was our chef. There was also Lumiere, Which was the maid. I walked out of the Kitchen, Walked to my room. Might as well do something productive.

Chapter Three: Rooms

Risa P.O.V

I was dragged behind that Autumn girl. My eyes widen as I notice how pretty she is. Autumn has Reddish purplish hair, that is pulled into a pony tail and beautiful blue eyes. I pale in comparison with my plain brown hair and my common green eyes.I feel self conscious now... Great If her family was as beautiful as her, Well then. We would have a problem if I stood gawking at every one of them, Like some crazy stalker. That's the least of my worries, Autumn could be some psycho killer! Or maybe one of her family members. What if they don't like me. Then I wouldn't have a place to stay! "Here we are!" I heard Autumn's voice. I looked at the house. It was huge. Autumn's house was huge, though it looked run down, Haunted even. Autumn let go of my hand then happily skipped over to the door and opened it. Autumn walked in to the house. Risa followed along and made sure to close the door. "Well now! I'll show you my room then I'll show you yours!" Autumn smiled as she started to walk up the stairs. I hurried behind. We soon arrived to a door. Autumn opened the door. Revealing her room. On the opposite wall of the door had a door that led outside, to a balcony. On the Right side of the room there was a fire place, A desk, A Desk-top computer. Around the fire place was a rug, Some chairs. On the left side there was her bed, and the door that led to her bath room. "So this is my room, If you need anything just talk to me." I nodded, "Okay now follow me" I followed her to my new room. "It's a little plain but we can fix that easily." I nodded again. As she opened the door, Plain was a under statement. Everything was a beige, The bed sheets. The walls The only thing that wasn't beige was the dark cherry wood floor.

Chapter two: A chance encounter

Autumn P.O.V

I sighed in front of the computer. I had work to do yet no inspiration. I stood up and put on my Victorian style lace boots. I sat on my vanity and brushed my long Reddish,Purplish hair. before deciding to put it up in a pony tail. "Brother! I'm going out!" I ran out of the house, not even bothering to make sure he heard me. I decided to walk to the subway station, the best way to find inspiration on a report about criminal violence? Well, Go to where all of those punks gather. I walked down the beautiful streets of Crystal city. Crystal city is located in the middle of no where.. Literally you need to get lost to find this town. Crystal city is a small town, located in a desert. A few miles south of Crystal city is, Stimander. A town that is much smaller than Crystal city. Stimander and Crystal city are in a feud, Over what? Why government money of course. Crystal city has more..- Wealthy citizens, Me and my family being such. Stimander is much more, ragged. I even wished the government money was given to Stimander. Enough of that though. As I started the decent down the stairs to the Subway station I could hear the wicked laughs of the hooligans. Oh! Did i mention that the crime rate in Crystal city was very high? I could see suspicious people smoking suspicious stuff. I just ignored them though. "Hello, Girlie." A rough, ragged voice came from behind me. I wasn't scared though, these were just punks, They weren't going to do anything to me. "Hello." I greeted shyly. "Girlie, Why don't you come with us?" I paused.. us? I turned around and saw, three. I was already making a plan to get out of this. "Please leave me alone" I looked down at my feet. One of the punks grabbed my chin and pulled it up closer to his face. "Stop that!!" I heard a high pitched voice behind me. "Or what?" One of them said "Or this!" Said the strange girl. The girl kicked him where the sun doesn't shine. The man fell to the ground howling in pain. I looked at the girl and the rest of the punks ran away. I walked over to the girl. "Hello, Thanks for that. I'm Autumn, And you are?" The girl looked around. "I'm Risa! By any chance are we in Stimander?" I laughed. "No, Your at Crystal City. Stimander is a few miles south." "Oh" Risa responded. "Uhm, Miss Risa?" I said. Risa looked at me. "Since you saved me how would you like to stay at my house for how ever long you would like" Risa's eyes widen "Oh No! I couldn't impose like that!" I laughed and shook my head "Nonsense. Me and my family has more than enough room." I took her hand and started to walk, dragging her along. "My parents are away on business so its just me and my brother." Risa struggled to get out of my grip, She failed though "Thats even more of a reason why I cannot stay!" She said. I shook my head. "My mother always complains on how she doesn't have enough people to cook for."

Chapter One

~Risa P.O.V~

"Risa! GET DOWN HERE!" I hear my father call me. "Coming daddy!" I reply. I quickly close my diary and put it in a duffel bag. Risa quickly ran down the stairs to see her father who was as red as a tomato. "Yes father?" I asked sheepishly. "Risa, Did you pick up your brother from school?" I heard my mothers loving voice. "Of Course you didn't, Risa! Your so useless!" I heard my father yell. "You guys didn't tell me I needed to pick up David from school!" I yelled bad, And almost instantly my father slapped me across the face, causing me to fall back.  "Go back to your room!" He yelled. I ran up to my room, shut and locked the door. I held the bruising cheek, As if that would stop the pain, Sadly. It didn't. I flopped on her bed and cried. After I cried I fell asleep.
At around Two in the morning i woke up. I looked around my room. This is the perfect time. I started to throw stuff in my duffel bag, Clothes, water. Money,  Fat food. A small bowl. I walked over to my dresser and placed a ruby and sliver necklace in the bag. I snuck down stairs, Very quietly but quickly as well. I gently picked up Toby, My cat. And quickly brought him into my room. I placed him in a medium sized purse. She zipped it up, but let a little space for air. Risa opened her second story window and dropped the duffel bag with all of her stuff in it. Risa held the bag that had Toby in it close to her chest. She quickly left her room and ran out of the house. When Risa was finally outside she grabbed the duffel bag that she dropped and ran, Ran as fast as her legs could carry her.
